Reservoir Lodge is a detached, 4-bedroom house with a view of Eccup Reservoir. The house has a large garden surrounding the property and a spacious guest house to allow young people to take part in activities and time by themselves.

Effective implementation of the Safewards for Safe Homes model means that the young people at Reservoir Lodge are clear regarding the home’s mutual expectations, from supporting the running of the house and playing an active role in their care planning and reviews, through to taking part in-house meetings, therefore feeling fully involved in all decisions about the home. The Care in Mind ethos of “no decision about me without me” is well embedded throughout the home and staff interventions.

All the young people actively participate in the completion of the Mental Health Recovery STAR and have individualised care plans in order to be supported to achieve their own goals and fulfill their potential.

The staff team at Reservoir Lodge have created a positive, friendly environment to support the young people in their recovery pathway, supported by effective multidisciplinary team working.
